I am a multidisciplinary artist, originally from Iran. In 2003 I first arrived in Australia, and after obtaining an MVA from Queensland College of Art I embarked on a journey that led me to live in England, Scotland, and Lithuania. In July 2023 I returned to Brisbane with the intention of settling down.

My artwork draws inspiration from my experience as a migrant woman navigating the intersections of various lands, cultures and languages. Throughout my artistic journey I have explored a wide range of creative expressions including lithography, video art, installation and bookmaking. Currently, my practice is centred on mixed media with a focus on a series of work that portrays women and their paths to flourishing.
