We invite you to join us for the Gala Opening Night of the 2022 RQAS Biennial, consisting of the Qld Figurative and Young Artist Award.

Hosted by the Royal Queensland Art Society Brisbane Branch, the Queensland Figurative is a competition that is open to Queensland Artists for paintings in which the human figure is integrated into the composition. The Young Artist Award is designed to encourage and support young artists in the pursuit of excellence.

The Biennial will be officially opened by Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM, Governor of Queensland.

The Gala event will feature prize presentations, live music and canapes.
