‘Illumination’ offers a thoughtful exploration of the role of creative practice in the therapeutic process by a group of art therapists who have exhibited together annually since graduating from the UQ Masters in Mental Health program in 2008. Exploring this year’s theme, the works included trace and reflect the subtle terrain of the inner worlds of the exhibiting artists – from the spark of recognition, to the ache of understanding, the confusion of becoming, and the quiet persistence of hope.

This group show featuring the artwork of Claudje Lecompte, Tabitha Ford, Bethany Mahadeo and Jannie B. Olsen will be on show at RQAS Brisbane Gallery from Tuesday, 17th of November to Sunday, 22nd of November, 2026.
