5 Art Psychotherapists exhibit together at RQAS Gallery for the first time. They graduated from UQ in 2008 and exhibited together at Percolator Gallery, Paddington for over 10 years. They are now back to share how they, as therapists and creatives, incorporate their lived experience in their art and their art practice as part of their personal growth, wellbeing and an integral part of their therapeutic professional practice.

The exhibition, On the Other Side, includes diverse media, forms and the uniquely individual styles of the exhibitors, as they interpret the theme of the exhibition in their own way.

Bethany Mahadeo, Claudje Lecompte, Jane Griffin, Jannie B Olsen and Tabitha Ford have known each other for 16 years and collaborated through their professional roles, art exhibitions and on a book celebrating 10 years of exhibiting together. Each has approached their art practice in very different ways, from painting figuratively and abstractly, drawing and printmaking, and sculpting using a variety of media and mixed media.
