This year the RQAS is celebrating our legacy of the strong female artists in our society by holding our inaugural ‘Women’s Work’ exhibition and fundraiser to coincide with International Women’s Day 2019. This group exhibition brings together a diverse range of artists working across many mediums who are addressing the following themes: the female contribution to the arts, equality in the workplace and the concept of ‘Women’s Work’. As a part of this exhibition we will be fundraising for Share The Dignity, a wonderful charity which assists homeless women and victims of domestic violence.
Opening Night including an art auction and live music: Saturday 2nd March 7pm (tickets $10) All funds raised from this auction will go to Share the Dignity and half of all ticket sales for the opening night will go to Share The Dignity.
