Artist – Sue Palmer
Sue’s primary practice is acrylic and mixed media paintings, but she also enjoys charcoal drawing, oil and soft pastel, and watercolour. Her other interests lie in mixed media sculptures, wood being the primary medium with the addition of found objects – her small contribution to reducing landfill.
As a self-taught artist who sees drawings and paintings in everything she looks at, Sue dreams about art becoming her full-time career. This has become even more important to Sue having had to face her own mortality while hospitalised in 2020 due to a life-threatening medical incident, resulting in her withdrawing from her MA(VisArts).
