Connections and Reconnections, an exhibition that delves into the intricate web of human relationships and the profound impact that these connections have on our lives and on the artworks we create. Through various mediums of sculpture and painting, styles of traditional or abstract, the art and the connections of RQAS endure through time and distance to tell their story.

This exhibition will showcase artworks from the RQAS collection, and will be on show at Petrie Terrace Gallery

KEY EVENTS

On Saturday, 20th of July at 4:30pm, join us at Petrie Terrace Gallery for the exhibition opening event. This event will include an artist talk from Greg de Silva on the artworks on display, and a silent auction.

On Sunday 28th July at 10:30am RQAS also presents artist talk ‘Growing an Art World’ by Dr Judy Hamilton! For this artist talk, Judy will discuss how in 1887 three men formed the first organisation of artists in Brisbane with the aim of improving conditions for artists.
