Selina McPhee recently moved back to Australia after spending many years in Germany, painting and loving life there. Her work is charismatic with a thoughtful and sometimes comical twist to some of her paintings.
She works mainly with acrylics on canvas and has concentrated on a figurative style for many years before turning to abstract pieces in her later career. She also loves to paint on recycled wood pieces and you will see these at the Red Poppy Art Collective in Redcliffe.
She has already presented her works internationally and has a growing fan base.
She is based in Scarborough in the north of Brisbane.
