Those who saw his 2018 exhibition at Petrie Terrace Gallery will appreciate that Wayne’s work is a very complex and densely layered exploration of our Queensland landscape. \nIn talking about his work Wayne says\, ‘I like quietly observing life\, seeing how life forms accommodate each other and the physical structures that surround them.  Life that compromises and best adapts to constant change around it; survives\, often taking on interesting and unexpected character and form.
