SUMMARY:Colour My World With Something Old\, Something New - Glen Gillard
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1523319263370{padding-top: 20px !important;padding-bottom: 30px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text] \n“Colour My World With Something Old\, Something New” will be my fourth exhibition at Petrie Tce Gallery\, the last in 2018. As the title of the exhibition suggests\, there will be Colour\, and Old and New parts to this show. The Colour should need no explanation but the Old and New are in reference to a few things. First up\, there will be some Old work not shown before\, pastels and drawings of RQAS identities and other notorious characters. These will largely be works from our Friday sessions. There will be a collection of recent [ New ] flower pieces. These flower paintings\, mostly roses\, are supported with beautiful objects\, antique vases and props\, and hence\, Old. \nAlso included will be landscapes\, buildings and portraits in a variety of medium – oils\, watercolour and gouache. \nIt is fair to say that this exhibition “grew “ out of lockdown early in 2020\, and my garden\, surrounding my studio\, allowed me no excuses – not that I needed any. \nGlen Gillard \nBookings for opening event now open.
