The gallery will email you to confirm your place in the exhibition or if we need further information about your entry. \n1.5 Entry fees are not refundable. \n1.6 Artwork must not have won a prize in any other competition. Artwork must not have been entered in an RQAS sponsored competition in the last two years. \nDelivery \n2.1 Artworks to be delivered to the Gallery at 3/162 Petrie Terrace\, Brisbane\, QLD\, 4000\, on  Monday 1st February\, 10am – 12pm. \n2.2 If you are not able to deliver at this time please contact the gallery to make alternative arrangements once your entry form has been submitted. \nArtwork \n3.1 Entries must be the original work of the exhibitor. \n3.2 Exhibitors agree to images of their work being reproduced in print and online for promotional purposes\, to this end please include a digital jpeg file with your online entry or email to entries@rqas.com.au. Save file as “yourname_artworktitle” \n3.3 All works need to be easily carried by 1 person. \n3.4 Each artwork must not exceed 1.5 m in width. \n3.5 Entries are accepted\, displayed\, and returned at the owner’s risk. Freight and insurance are also the owner’s responsibility. All care will be taken\, but no responsibility accepted for loss or damage. \n3.6 Any questions artists have during installation must be addressed to the gallery director or their representative. \n3.7 Should any dispute arise where no specific ruling is laid down the committee’s decision is final. \nPresentation \n4.1 The work must be suitably presented and ready to be safely displayed with the appropriate hardware. \n4.2 Framed artworks and works on canvas (or otherwise mounted) must be ready to hang on the wall using medium or large sized  “D” rings placed approximately 5 to 10cm from the top of the frame. Wire or string is not required. \n4.3 Clearly mark the artist’s name\, contact details\, title of work\, and price on this artwork label. \nExample of Artwork Label: \nBRIS; LLP  2021 \nArtist____________________ \nArtwork Title_____________________ \nMedium_________________ Price__________________ \n4.5 Artworks MUST be dry and clean. \n4.6 Artworks will only be displayed at the discretion of the Gallery\, we will not display artwork deemed unsafe\, offensive\, or unsuitable. \nSales \n5.1 Artwork must be for sale\, please allow for RQAS commission and any applicable GST when setting price. \n5.2 The gallery will charge 27.5% commission (including GST) on all sales. \n5.3 We offer 3-month lay-by options for buyers. Any lay-by not finalised within this time will have the artwork returned to the Artist. \n5.4 Artists will be paid for any sales after the end of the exhibition OR when any lay-by is paid in full. \nPick up/Bump Out \n6.1 Entries may ONLY be picked up at the end of the exhibition. Bump out is Monday 28th February  10am-12pm. \n6.2 Works not collected within three months of the exhibition closing date may be disposed of at the discretion of the RQAS Management Committee. \nEvents & Prizes \n7.1 Opening Night is Friday 4th February at 7pm.
