RQAS is the oldest and most influential Art Society in Queensland

The main role of the RQAS Inc. is to encourage and promote the cultivation and appreciation of the fine arts of painting, sculpture, architecture and the artistic crafts.

We aim to encourage the understanding and appreciation of art in all its forms among members and non-members with specific reference to activities, meetings and seminars designed to provide adequate coverage of relevant aspects.
